Problem
Outjo Bakkery has been a landmark in Outjo since 1947, and a regular stop for travellers heading north. Its website ran on an ageing WordPress setup that was slow to load and needed constant upkeep, a poor fit for visitors checking the menu, opening hours or directions on their phones while on the road.
Idea
One fast, beautiful page that tells the bakery's story and answers what a visitor actually wants to know: what's on the menu, what other guests say, and how to get there. Keep the warmth and character of the brand, and remove everything that slowed it down.
Build
A single, continuously scrolling page with anchor-linked navigation: the bakery's story, six menu categories from pastries and the famous apple pie to pizzas and coffee, the team, guest reviews and full contact details with an embedded map. Images are optimised automatically for every screen size, and the site is secured end to end and set up for Google search.
Result
Visitors now get a fast, mobile-friendly site that shows the bakery at its best and gets them from search to the front door in a few taps. With nothing left to patch or update, the site stays quick and secure without ongoing maintenance.
